History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Gurdis hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Her parents enrolled her in a Warrior school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and many goblins want her driven away

One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Salasar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Carter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
