History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. History: Cloud was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. After a long history of fighting, Cloud and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety

She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Mortician for the past few years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Leaf was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and revenge
