History: Mindartis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and sabotage a competitor

History: Shamash lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ploughman they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second son.
