History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now mingles about in high society.

She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has never given up on her painting dream.
