History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Being a Locksmith kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Harriet was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Healer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Seamstress, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: Born in the east to a Bather, Salanop learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Jillian abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was born in the north. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and retire the richest woman in the south
