History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Igden was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Morthos was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Jeweler for hire.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
