History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ulfgar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Clerebold embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Clerebold and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Mara was born on a far eastern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Bather. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she is wracked by social anxiety

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bowyer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Spy, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Mara was born the youngest of three triplets. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
