History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Anne reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Gardener.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Gardener responsibilities is difficult; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Through the years after Merla was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Merla's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Merla and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and wants to raise her children well

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
