History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Ranala was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ranala's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Ranala and her spouse have recently divorced.

Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
