Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. This hazel eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: Conrad wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: He was born in the east. He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a white suit, pastel shirt, and green tie. He has a long blonde beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ar-Baruk grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ar-Baruk. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a layabout and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. After coming to the age of reason, Adelard took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She is physically well-built. Her yellow fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.
Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: She was born into a rich family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her black crest is long and unkept. Her eyes are gold.
Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.
History: Arava was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arava fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and a rival would like her out of the picture
