History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Through the years after Shautha was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Joser isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Slave Trader hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Joser was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: Kriv was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Kriv took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He has worked as a Shepherd like his father before him.
