Through the years after Soveliss was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tiaathque grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tiaathque. Being a Butcher kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
