History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He worked as a nervous Body Guard and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Drifting was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Drifting was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Drifting decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. This search led him directly into Mason work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mason work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
