History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Trail alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Dariff was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. After coming to the age of reason, Dariff took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
