History: Shax was born the youngest of three triplets. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Dyer.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Symma was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: Tervaround speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born in a small plains village. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has achieved small success as a Cook.

Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her silver hair is thinning but still full. Her blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Egelina was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He uses divination through singing.

History: Theodoric lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. History: Bree was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Bree liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
