She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Qualen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Adventurer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She found a children's book about a Elf Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. A gifted student she started as a Butcher, but she got bored and became a Priest. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Priest for hire.

His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 40. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Kansif lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Kansif was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kansif's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Thradal was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.
