He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hadarai was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Shifting was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Shifting was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shifting decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
