History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Unemployed work with an outfit from a few towns over. Unemployed work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ploughman arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Crampernap was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Crampernap's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
