History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. History: Born in the west to a Slave Trader, Pennie learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her childhood dream was to be a Scribe, but she was a colossal failure. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Slave Trader for the past few years.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and balancing her hectic life and new slave trader responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rael embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He uses divination through singing.

History: Born to a Miner, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
