Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.
History: Harann lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Harann was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Spice Merchant and was forced into it by her family; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'1" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. Her brown fur has been sun bleached extensively. She has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.
Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
Motivation: She has a crush on the local Shepherd; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a black costume with the symbols of luck on his torso. His silver crest is still thick. His gold eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Greethen was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Greethen decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.
Motivation: Wants a kiss; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. A gifted student she started as a Courier, but she got bored and became a Mercenary. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Mercenary for the past few years.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Damaia was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Masseuse. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mayor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: Fragrant wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.
History: Fragrant was born with his mother's beautiful face. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Architect they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
