The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

After coming to the age of reason, Erdan took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Spy. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
