History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Helen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Helen's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Beggar arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
