History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ekk grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her druidic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Ekk was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.
