History: Zook was born with his father's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Zook grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Zook. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and money/treasure
