History: Avice was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Avice was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Avice's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During his travels, Dench and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Dench discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Gifted from a young age, Elama studied abroad. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Marshal work with an outfit from a few towns over. Marshal work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
