History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ahrim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Marbas was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of orcs

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and half-elven compassion

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Nuraval lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Spy, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
