Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gardain embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Whurdred hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Whurdred grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roland's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bricklayer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born in the east to a Mercenary, Silent learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He became a Mercenary soon after.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has worked as a Server like his mother before him.

History: Born in the north to a Scribe, Numba learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Numba was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She tends to her Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She worked as a nervous Navigator and found it very stressful. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Being a Layabout kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
