One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Theodoric hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Anastrianna was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Gomory took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up rapier and armor she uses now. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
