Description: He is a husky man, who prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His dark red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. This white eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Pelaios took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult

She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: She comes from a rich eastern family. A freak accident while working with her Body Guard father left her crippled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His hair is long and blonde with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Sapply was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: A 3'1" eastern man, he wears a red tunic with grey highlights, and long tan pants that bunch up around his shoes. He has no hair. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Nelkin is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Nelkin abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Herleva was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Herleva took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
