History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 78. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Aelar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Aelar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Vezera alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
