She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Through the years after Gilthur was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gilthur's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gilthur never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
