However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Gargax was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Scribe. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Shamash lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He struck the Shepherd job and began his own company from there.

Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Herbalist but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born in a small island village. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She bought a scythe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sun grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sun. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact
