History: Salanop hails from a village terrorized by drow. At a young age her mother died while driving off some drow. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in quarterstaff use. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dragonborn doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
