History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Akta took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up lance and armor she uses now. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a Barrister, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Xanaphia embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She became a Bookbinder soon after.

Motivation: Expand her business; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Guard but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eldon grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eldon. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Junk Dealer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Traulam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ilanis studied abroad. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Ilanis never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
