Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Ahlyssa's homeland. Ahlyssa decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Gnome Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
