History: Alston was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Alston alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
