History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She takes great joy in being the best Bookbinder in town.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and retire the richest man in the north

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hugolina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Hugolina liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Glassblower, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.
