The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Tana took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up morningstar and armor she uses now. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Tordrid lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with her Dyer mother left her crippled. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Born to a Miller, his father struggled to pay the bills. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
