Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. After coming to the age of reason, Spear took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He struck the Mason job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Whurbin hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Courier. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in the west to a Courier, Justin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Farmer, but he got bored and became a Courier. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Courier responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
