History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Mantus was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Mantus's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Gargax hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Gargax alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
