History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: Cecily hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
