Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. She struck the Layabout job and began her own company from there.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Therai grew up listening to his father's many stories. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Theriatis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theriatis grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: Lamlis was born with his father's beautiful face. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Lamlis took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hammer and armor he uses now. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.
History: Gifted from a young age, Ruloth studied abroad. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Courier. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: Astaro is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She became a Hunter soon after.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Faral was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
