One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Torz took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up longbow and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Mardred lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and doesn't want to be a stylist and was forced into it by her family

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Shax never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
