History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Murgen's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her first spouse was a Dilettante, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Description: He likes to wear blue tank tops with brown pants. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He keeps his silver hair in a pixie cut. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Mindartis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Mindartis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Brewer, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Courier job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: He is content; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, grey shirt, and red tie. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are likewise red. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: This younger middle-aged woman is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Dyer, and a wedding ring on her right hand. With wild brown hair. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.
Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She takes great joy in being the best Barrister in town.
History: Hecat was born with her mother's beautiful face. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She's also a talented Brewer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
