The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Her blonde hair is matted, messy, and big. She has a dull look in her green eyes.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Bertram isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
