She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thorpe embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Thorpe was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Thorpe and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Elizabeth has worked very hard to control her curse. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. A gifted student she started as a Miller, but she got bored and became a Bricklayer. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is greedy.
