When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and a deep hatred of drow

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
