Personality: He is happy with his job as a Doctor. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Doctor and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Zaffrab embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: Gifted from a young age, Burgell studied abroad. Burgell was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Stylist. He tends to his Stylist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has worked as a Carpenter like his father before him.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He tends to his Bather job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
