Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she prefers to wear pastel pants and tee shirts. Her wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her copper eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Trail is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born into a rich family. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Herbalist work with an outfit from a few towns over. Herbalist work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Grom was born with his mother's beautiful face. Through the years after Grom was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Grom's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Reirak and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: Dwarven compassion; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Fletcher father left him crippled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a map maker and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: William was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. When William reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He struck the Stylist job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
