However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. History: She got into the Detective business at a young age. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Barber arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She's also a talented Miner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born into a rich family. A gifted student she started as a Painter, but she got bored and became a Stylist. She's also a talented Painter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dagger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now mingles about in high society.
